DRIVING LESSONS
At Drive like a Boss we can offer you both Manual and Automatic driving lessons, you also have the choice between male and female driving instructors.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We will tailor your lessons to suit your learning style as we know that a one size approach to learning never works. This will ensure you learn as quickly as possible and don't waste money.
There are several ways you can learn to drive, here you can find more information about the different types of lessons on offer with us.
WEEKLY LESSONS
Drive like a Boss instructors recommend our learners take weekly driving lessons. The most common driving lessons courses consist of either 90 minute lessons or 2 hour lessons, taken on a weekly basis. Our driving instructors take you from the very basics right through to your test. You will learn how to drive and become a successful driver in the quickest way possible.
Driving lessons can be booked once of twice per week, allowing you to spread your driving course over a timescale convenient to you.
SEMI-INTENSIVE COURSES
A semi intensive driving course is a type of intensive driving course which takes place over a shorter period of time typically from 4 weeks - 3 months. Our driving instructors recommend this type of driving course to learners who have passed their theory test (or at least have it booked).
Our learners can book between 3 - 8 hours of driving lessons per week, depending on yours and the instructors availability. If you think you would like to do a semi-intensive driving course we recommend you enquire early to secure your lessons due to instructor availability.
We do not offer one week intensive courses.
AUTOMATIC LESSONS
We are delighted to now have a team of Automatic instructors across the driving school. Times are changing and more people are now requesting automatic driving lessons when they enquire for the first time. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to offer automatic lessons in all of the areas we currently cover, but we can offer automatic driving lessons in Bedford, Kempston, Wootton, Great Barford, Sharnbrook, Burton Latimer and Kettering.

PASS PLUS LESSONS
Pass Plus advanced driving course is a six hour driving course designed for furthering your driving skills and experience once you have passed your practical test. The Pass Plus Scheme offers six modules:
- Town driving
- Country driving
- All weather driving
- Night time driving
- Dual carriageways
- Motorways
Successful completion of the Pass Plus course will reward you with greater confidence when dealing with driving indepentently, as well as some insurance companies offering discounts on premiums.
REFRESHER DRIVING LESSONS
There are many instances where a driver seeks out a refresher driving course. These lessons are ideal for drivers who have passed their practical test but have taken a break from driving. The refresher driving courses can also help experienced drivers to become safer on the roads and break out of bad driving habits.
They are also ideal for drivers returning to the UK after living (and driving) abroad. The Drive like a Boss refresher driving lessons are ideal for drivers who are looking to brush up on their skills.
MOTORWAY DRIVING LESSONS
Motorways can feel daunting especially the first time you need to use one. Our motorway lessons can help to boost your confidence, and help you keep yourself safe. The law changed on June 4th 2018 allowing learner drivers to drive on motorways with a fully qualified driving instructor.
